Designing swimwear has always been more than fabric and fit, it’s a conversation between art, emotion, and the women who wear it. Every swimwear piece I create tells a story of confidence, individuality, and self-love.
When I first started sewing bikinis, I quickly realized that no two bodies are the same, and that’s exactly what makes designing so meaningful. I’ve had the privilege of working with women of all shapes, sizes, and experiences, each with her own story and her own version of confidence. Every body is a bikini body. There’s no single mold for beauty, and creating custom swimwear has allowed me to celebrate that truth every single day.
Some of the most touching experiences I’ve had are with women who’ve gone through medical surgeries, women who felt unsure if they could ever feel comfortable in a swimsuit again. Together, we worked hand in hand to bring their dream pieces to life. Whether it was creating a high-waisted bikini for more coverage, adding compression and stretch for comfort and confidence, or designing a custom bust fit that provided the right amount of support, lift, and security, each piece was a collaboration built on trust and care. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing someone light up when they try on their custom bikini for the first time, realizing it fits not only their body, but their spirit.
One of the biggest challenges women share with me is finding swimwear that supports their bust, especially for those with fuller cup sizes. Traditional swimwear rarely caters to this need, often sacrificing style for support. Through the custom design process, I focus on creating structured tops that balance both beauty and functionality: adjustable straps that relieve tension on the neck and shoulders, double-lined cups / underwire for shape and comfort, and thoughtful band widths to ensure security without restriction. The same care goes into every fit, whether someone wants a minimal, cheeky cut or a more modest design, I tailor the pattern to make her feel effortlessly confident.
What I love most about the custom design process is the collaboration, sitting down with women, listening to what they love (and don’t love) about traditional swimwear, and finding creative ways to make something just for them. It’s not just about making a swimsuit. It’s about helping women reconnect with their bodies, to feel strong, supported, and radiant in their own skin.
For me, every measurement, every thread, and every tiny adjustment carries meaning. It’s proof that swimwear can be personal, inclusive, and empowering.
